Dragon Lore Summons eBook Octavia Knight Reviews
I fell in love with this story halfway through the first chapter. It's got great plot and the characters are amazing. The book is a little thick but it's totally worth it. (SPOILER ALERT) I'm rooting for the main character Toni and Bane's relationship but it looks like there's a serious hint of a subplot around them too so I don't know. But it's cool that there's going to be a sequel. The way it ended, the author had to start with another soon. (END OF SPOILER) I'd recommend this to anyone who likes epic adventure, good and intriguing but not too sappy romance, and some kick-ass action. There are a few scenes that are a bit grphic and I wouldn't think it'd be good for kids under 14 to read horror bits like that. Overall, a great read. Waiting for the next installment!
Book was interesting but extremely difficult to read due to desperate need of editing. I would like to give more stars because I did continue to read the book even with extremely poor editing. Normally I would dump a book with so many flaws, but I love stories about dragons. The main character was a seventeen year old girl who reminded me of a six or seven year old. But if you can wrap your imagination around that, the book would be a three or a three and a half.
This book is clearly a page turner. I could envision the characters and events every step of the way. The imagery and dialogue are so vivid. The style compels you to keep reading and not put it down until you finish. I recommend Dragon Lore Summons to anyone who enjoys the fantasy/science fiction genre.
